It is aimed to create an enabling environment to meet the existing demand in the service sector by providing necessary financial and training facilities. Currently, three service sector villages are operating in Anuradhapura, Gampaha and Ratnapura districts focusing on tourism, motor vehicle services and gem cutting. The service sector is one of the high potential areas for widening alternative income sources especially for low and middle-income categories.
