A broader range of products that are related to the industrial sector is being produced by 160 Saubagya Production Villages in 25 districts. The sector encompasses cane & reed products, a variety of clay related products, local handicrafts/carpentry items, iron & gold products, bricks & cement related products, batik, handloom fabrics & footwear, candles & incense sticks and local traditional sweets. 

In addition to that Sri  Lankan Spice related, green products are also promoted. For instance, Cinnamon related green products as cinnamon oil, cinnamon powder, cinnamon tea bags and sticks.

It is expected to add value to untapped natural resources while empowering local communities.
